Leaving to the airport for NY (my other hometown) right NOW!!!

So as part of my program, I am required to take this Art course this semester.

She had us using these fancy drawing pencils and paper and before we did anything, she made us close our eyes and "look inside" at the landscape within us. she then had us draw what we saw in complete silence afterward. Then we used coloring pencils to color it in.

I am in NO way an artist, but this is what I drew.

Mine was very different compared to everyone else's happy sunsets, oceans, trees, mountains, etc...

I'll be starting an art journal soon, so maybe I'll keep posting all my "art" from that class in here, hehe.

Guess I finally found a use for this "scrapbook" section on dA!

Love is when you find someone that you can't live without and you can't even imagine what your life would be like without them.
Someone who is like your best friend and you can be yourself around them.

Wow, I won a competition guessing the beautiful Lilyas age and she has given me a 3 month subscription. I have never had a subscription before, so be patient while I learn how to work out all the kinks!

My trip to Hawaii was beautiful, and I have finally posted quite a few of my photos on dA.

Since Hawaii, I have moved to my new apartment in my BEAUTIFUL neighborhood in UBC! It is gorgeous here, and if I wasn't so busy with my studies, I would be taking photos non-stop to share with you.

Not sure if many of you know, but I am in the Elementary School Teacher Program. It is a lot of fun and I am really enjoying it so far. I have been placed in a grades 1/2 class, which I am really excited to start a my 3-week practicum in starting Monday!

Anyway, I'm going to keep exploring the features of having a subscription!
